There was one crash on Saturday with Richards 700e DFC going in from 50m up in the air into the ground. It was rather unfortunate as it seems that a signal loss to the receivers (sats) meant that the motor went into fail safe (O% Throttle) and the contact with the other parts was lost (All learnt through the data from the ESC and Brain). So it was impossible for Richard to Auto safely (From that height would have been safely on the ground). Right frame was lost as well as the Battery (Worst part of it), skids and boom. Electronics seem ok though.
Crash Report 2018_08_10
We had two crashes this weekend.
The first was Richard's 700e with a Vbar Neo on it. The main damage was to the Blades, Servo and one way bearing.
Lesson learned: Always check the direction of the movement of swash plate after doing an overhaul.
Second crash of the day was Greg's Ultimate where the undercarriage tore off in landing.
Lesson learned: Always do the upgrade on the parts you know are weak.

No crashes to report. Nice going guys and great flying.
Crash Report 2018_07_21
The unfortunate crash this last weekend (20/07/2018) was Roy's Stuka. Did a tumble on take off and snapped in the middle... Unfortunately don't have a picture of the Stuka post crash, but was a clean break just behind the canopy.</p>
The weather was superb, the bacon and egg skottel breakfast went down extremely well, flying friends and family relaxed in the sunlight and enjoyed each other’s company and obviously the focus was on the planes, helicopters and some wonderful flying.
Its times like these that help us to cope with the stresses and tensions that seem to smother us during the week. What a wonderful past-time.
Obviously it all took some organizing, so thanks to everyone who responded, to those who did the cooking, who brought equipment and who cleaned up, to Paul for doing the shopping and providing, to Melissa and Martin who have taken all the photos and to everyone who contributed in making Saturday such a wonderful event. Really appreciated and enjoyed by all who attended.
Please take care and continue to have happy landings.
