I will be putting an OS105 HRZ in with a MRSI tuned Diamond Carbon Muffler(blue) in it. Planning to run 20% Nitro.
Will be using MSH Brain FBL and Spektrum setup.
The Un - Boxing of the power plant and the contents that come with the engine.
The manuals are about the only complaint that I have around the whole package. They are one dimensional and printed black and white paper. However this is not too much of an issue as I usually download the manuals onto my Ipad.
In the box itself is the glow plug and the one way value for the tank compression. Goes between the base plate and the tank. With the muffler I chose, there is no option to hook up the tank compression to the muffler. So the HR-Z would be the only motor that would work for now.
The contents of the box are very interesting, with the engine being wrapped with plastic. Included is glow plug, check value, Velocity Stack and Head Gaskets (0.1mm and 0.2mm).
The next set of photos is a series of the engine itself. I took from a number of angles that show the quality. I am in love... Almost want to mount it in a glass case as a display piece.
The second part is the muffler that I ordered. Now this muffler is supposed to be the quietest on the market with out the compromise in the performance. (Read this piece on line, so is not confirmed). So here is the un-boxing of the muffler all the way from Italy...
So first out of the box is the mounting items to fit on the O.S. Power plant.
Next out the muffler - Wrapped in a towel.
The Italians make the most beautiful stuff... Customer service>>> Not so much. Had to fight them for this...
WOW - Really want to get this into the air... Did a dry fit the engine and the muffler to see what it would look like.
Really want to start with the build ASAP.... Next up is the un-boxing of the kit.
Really well packed kit...
First box out is the "Main rotor head set", which tore a little while trying to extract. Included in the box was the head, main shaft, main gear, frame hardware, tail rotor parts and blades, fan housing and the gear for main drive.
And then there was the head itself... Not ready to build so did not remove from the packets.
More to follow.
